My Shoe ..........

..... is Toast!

It is my fault. I left a pair on new shoes (bought on sale in Nashville)
on the floor of our bedroom. After having her for two weeks,
I guess I trusted her a little more
than she may be worthy of.
Actually once I had the shoes on and wore them
to work, they were not as comfortable as I originally thought.

Her name is Sadie. She came with the name. She lived on acres along a creek with no boundaries . . . . outside all day but in a run when her owners were gone. We think that she might think she "has died and gone to heaven" since she is now an inside dog. Tom has already nicknamed her "little one." (As you might remember from a previous post, Colby was often tagged the "big unit." Sadie's 65 pounds seems small compared to a whopping 90 plus pounds at
Colby's peak weight.

The benefits: I have walked more in 2008 than I had in the previous 6 months. Once the cedar is gone, I plan to walk her everyday when I get home. (Or at least until it gets to be 110 in the shade and then I'll figure out something else.)
