This creature is the culprit, jumping the fence during the dark of night for a midnight snack while we slept only a few feet away. In the past, everything we have tried to deter these creatures has failed. Any suggestions anyone?
Our prickly-less prickly pear cactus however escaped the creatures. Perhaps it is too bitter or acidic? At any rate, we have had several blossoms this year on this gigantic succulent that I planted 22 years ago when we moved to Texas.y

Oh my goodness! I have heard of people tying jingle bells or mini cowbells on plants. I don't know that I am that patient, but maybe worth a shot?
