Happy Birthday Matt!

He was due on April 1 and arrived on Sunday, April 13. It seems like not so long ago but time says it has been 34 years. "Truck" was one of his first words - imagine that. He also had a made up word to use when he didn't know what to say. Konkadonner is what it sounded like though I am not sure how it was spelled. The word seemed to serve as a noun and an adjective. When he was 5 he wanted to grow up to be a semi truck driver.

When he was three is walked into the family cottage at Clear Lake and announced that it looked like Grandpa's garage. So Grandma Pearson had a wooden sign made and painted that christened the cottage "Grandpa's Garage" to hang above the door. First born grandchildren wield a lot of power.

He is a great big brother (and I think Betsy would agree)and a patient, imaginative and loving dad. He tried many sports, did the band thing, and the choir, followed dad's footsteps with Boy Scouts, and kept us busy just trying to keep up. From the time we moved to Texas (right before 6th grade) Matt knew he wanted to be an Aggie.
In fact, A & M is where Matt and Sarah met. Wonderful memories and many more to come.

Now they are three soon to be a family of four! Happy birthday Matt!
